The Story
My friends asked if I could custom paint a Woom GO bike for their son on his 6th birthday, and could I turn it around inside a week. He loves the color orange and only wears orange clothes. They sent me a swatch of his favorite shirt and I decided a red-orange to yellow-orange metallic fade. I also stenciled his name on the bike in the font of his favorite YouTube show, LankyBox.
I wanted to make sure to nail the factory lettering as precisely as I could, so I took lots of pictures and matched fonts for the vinyl stencil masks. Lots of whatthefont searches that day.
His reaction was priceless, and he now rides a big kid bike with a shifter and v-brakes. How cool is that?
