The Story
I found a decent-seeming 2006 Schwinn Mesa with a drab paint job at the bike co-op and decided to rebrand it as a Sendy.
Wait. Does this make it a Schwinndy?
Anyway. I was stuck for color ideas and watched the Oldshovel catalog and liked a blue and green bike he did, so I copied his technique and switched up the colors a bit to something I felt like was more exciting. I used kirin flake clear coat from Spray.Bike, and in the future I'll avoid it. The glitter in the clear coat actually cheapens the finish.
After I dropped it off at the co-op, it disappeared quickly because I had quite accidentally created a Denver Broncos tribute bike. Go Broncs I guess?
