The Story
This was my first spray gun paint job. It was also my first practice run with airbrushing, where I tried to learn to do a glow effect. The Head Shok logo was extremely tricky to get right with very tiny vinyl mask details, and the airbrushing didn't yield the "lightsaber" effect I had hoped for.
I had purchased some black metallic paint, only later realized I had purchased "Black Currant" and it is almost grape purple in the sun. I think it still looks the business and I got some practice airbrushing. The biggest challenge on this build was getting the paint to lay evenly given I was painting in my tiny paint tent. After this I decided to buy an inflatable paint booth, which is a much better experience.
